Community outings!

July has been full of days out and adventures for us! Members of the Cottage had lots of fun going out for lunch together! Hatch House spent an afternoon visiting the alpacas and Helen had an amazing time watching Strictly Ballroom at the Bristol Hippodrome. Whilst on holiday with his family in Spain, Harry had a great time taking part in activities like archery. Andrew had a new haircut and is excited to show everyone his new look!

Workshop wins!

Gigi and Kiera have been busy in the workshops this month making felted soap, also known as gardeners’ soap, and beautiful lavender bags. The workshops have smelt amazing this month! Efran has been working hard learning to sew to make a decorated bookmark! The garden workshops have also been working hard even with some challenging weather conditions!

When Anne first joined The Hatch last year, she wanted to be able to knit.  She has been practicing hard and has recently finished making a winter hat ready for the cooler months.

This month Helen has been super busy baking lots of tasty treats including a tray bake, summer fruit cupcakes and a strawberry lemon cake roll!
